Join the Compass Women’s Ministry
We understand how women today are pulled in multiple directions, trying to balance work and family. We hope you will make space for yourself and take time for spiritual growth, connecting with women just like yourself.
Compass Women offers multiple opportunities for women to connect and grow with other women in the church. Wherever you are in your faith journey, check out our opportunities for women and moms below.
MOPS is a ministry for moms with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS meetings are designed to encourage moms with young children at home, while giving them time to connect with other moms.
MOMSnext is a group created for moms of school-aged children (1st -12th grade). A MOMSnext group is an open and accepting place for all mothers of school-age kids to come just as they are to experience friendships, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope.
Compass Women’s Bible Studies
Compass offers many different groups for women looking to connect and grow spiritually with other women. Groups meet at various times throughout the week and are always looking for new moms to attend. Click below to find out what Bible studies are happening right now and jump in this week.
We are diving into Max Lucado’s Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World book by doing a five-week study to reflect on the promises of Philippians 4:4-8. We meet on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
Discover One Thing utilizes a method that enables you to organically study God’s word in a way that brings practical application through reading, journaling, and prayer. Together we will learn how to listen for God’s voice as He speaks through His word into our hearts. We meet on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
Be a mom after God’s own heart! Help your children—no matter what their ages—experience God’s love, God’s blessings and God’s provision. In this study, we will look at biblical principles, apply these principles and determine best choices to put into practice. We meet on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
As wives and mothers, we struggle to find our ‘identity’ and purpose within our families and our walk with God. In this six-week study of the book Kingdom Woman, we will embrace our purpose, power, and possibilities. We meet on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Moving to a new community has its challenges, but there is hope and connection. Author Susan Miller provides empathetic and practical advice to remind women that they are not alone. With true stories, ingenious insights, and helpful hints, this class makes transitioning smoother for women. We meet on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m.
Here and Now, There and Then by Beth Moore is a lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. We meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
We live in a culture that’s all about becoming the best “me” I can be instead of becoming like Jesus. This me-centered message affects every area of our lives–our friendships, our marriages, even our faith–it breaks each one in different ways. We meet on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling,
We believe every word of the Bible was inspired and given to us and is all that is necessary for us to become mature and thoroughly equipped for every good work in life. God has enabled Precept to reach across denominational lines without compromising the truths of His inerrant Word. If you are interested in this Bible study group, please contact Caryn Jacobs.
